CHECK OUT THE CRAZY QUILT
Our newest donation...
a 200+ year Crazy Quilt handed down from generation to generation with various amazing embroidered patches
from the Adel Fredenburg family.
Crazy Quilt - block-style patchwork quilt became a "distinct expression" of nineteenth-century America.
VICTORIAN WOMEN AT LILIAN PLACE
Learn the history of Victorian women of Daytona Beach.
Women in the Victorian society had one main role in life, which was to marry and take part in their husbands' interests and business. Before marriage, they would learn housewife skills such as weaving, cooking, washing, and cleaning, unless they were of a wealthy family.

Visit our new Veterans/Heritage walkway!

The long-awaited Veterans/Heritage walkway is now connecting Lilian Place and Hotchkiss House!
View the specially engraved brick pavers that memorialize a loved one, veteran or Lilian Place supporter.
Thank you all who helped to create this walkway and donated to help preserve history at Lilian Place Heritage Center!
You can still order an engraved paver for the Memorial walkway still to be constructed. See below for details...
