The mission of the Heritage Preservation Trust is to work for preservation and restoration of historical artifacts, buildings, lands, and sites in Volusia County through educational programs, fund raising, and grant acquisition.

a 200+ year Crazy Quilt handed down from generation to generation with various amazing embroidered patches
from the Adel Fredenburg family.
Crazy Quilt - block-style patchwork quilt became a "distinct expression" of nineteenth-century America.
VICTORIAN WOMEN AT LILIAN PLACE
Learn the history of Victorian women of Daytona Beach.
Women in the Victorian society had one main role in life, which was to marry and take part in their husbands' interests and business. Before marriage, they would learn housewife skills such as weaving, cooking, washing, and cleaning, unless they were of a wealthy family.
