About the Event

Join us for Wind-down Wednesday the third Wednesday of each month at the Historic Hotchkiss House

built in 1905 and original Winter home of Eli Hotchkiss "the Stapler King".   Come view all the wonderful historic Hotchkiss family photos decorating the first floor.  And learn about the Hotchkiss family circa 1905.

Middle of the week stress?  Come wind down at Hotchkiss House!

Join us for a relaxing evening and start winding down to the weekend.

Social Hour from 5:30-6:30pm

Dining available $$

Guest speaker from 6:30-7pm

John Dillard - Lilian's Honey Bee Yard (apiary)

Bees are essential to an abundant and thriving plant culture. John will share our experience of setting up and maintaining an apiary (also known as a bee yard).

​Then take a walk to view the Lilian's Honey Bee Yard, relax on the patio, enjoy the evening overlooking the Halifax River

Heritage Preservation Trust/Lilian Place Heritage Center is a 501c3 nonprofit. Thank you for your donation.  All proceeds go toward the preservation of Lilian Place and Hotchkiss House. Saved through Volusia County ECHO grants with partial funding from Volusia County Cultural grants.
